Internship Overview


Work as an intern teacher in a government or a private school in Sri Lanka and gain valuable experience. You will have the opportunity to work as an assistant teacher at a private school in Kandy and gain an experience of teaching which will be valuable for your career in teaching. While experiencing the culture, traditions and lifestyles in the hill capital of this island, get a boost to your career in teaching and familiarise the unique educational settings in Sri Lanka.

You will work as an assistant teacher at one of our many partner schools in Kandy. You will primarily be teaching any subject you are specialized in. You will be called upon to help teach drama, music and foreign languages depending on your field of specialization. You would also assist other teachers and staff and will create teaching plans, etc. You will receive a time table for your duration of an internship once you are at the school.

You will be able to use your own teaching methods and techniques in your classes. All the institutions we work with are well managed and are supervised by officers from government and private institutions.
